These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Verde Heroes services, including our website and our SMS and email communications programs. By using our services or opting into our communications, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
PAYMENT & LATE FEES
Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice. All clients enrolled in a weekly or bi-weekly recurring maintenance contract are strictly required to maintain a valid, authorized credit or debit card securely on file. Cards on file will be automatically processed within 24 hours of service delivery. Accounts remaining unpaid after five (5) business days from the invoice date are subject to a late fee of $10.00 and temporary
suspension of all scheduled services until the balance is paid in full.
BI-WEEKLY SERVICE & OVERGROWTH
Bi-weekly services are scheduled every 14 days and are prone to heavy accumulation. To compensate for the necessary double-cutting, extra labor time, and severe equipment wear caused by excessive grass height, the following tiered overgrowth pricing structure will strictly apply:
● 6 to 12 inches: Subject to an automatic 50% price increase on your base rate.
● 12 to 24 inches: Subject to an automatic 100% price increase (double the base rate).
● 24+ inches: Subject to a price increase up to 4x your base rate.
Verde Heroes retains the absolute right to decline service entirely upon arrival if the lawn height
exceeds manageable operational limits or poses a risk to our equipment (standard trip fee will
apply).
PROPERTY ACCESS & OBSTRUCTIONS
It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that all service areas are completely accessible. Gates must be unlocked and free from obstructions by 7:00 AM on your scheduled service day. If our crew arrives and cannot access your property due to locked gates, aggressive pets, or structural blocks, the service will be skipped, and a $25.00 trip fee will be billed to the account.
PROPERTY DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Verde Heroes is not liable for damage to personal property left on the lawn turf, including but not limited to: toys, garden hoses, pet cables, extension cords, tools, temporary holiday decor, or solar landscaping lights. Please clear all items prior to service. Furthermore, we are not responsible for damage to improperly buried utility lines, surface tree roots, shallow low- voltage wiring, or exposed plastic drip irrigation lines not installed to code depth.
PET WASTE POLICY
While minor pet waste is a routine element of outdoor service, excessive or un-cleared accumulation poses severe biohazards and equipment clean-up challenges. If a yard is deemed excessively fouled, a $15.00 hazardous clean-up surcharge will be added to the invoice, or the service may be skipped at our crew's discretion (standard trip fee applies).
GATE SECURITY AGREEMENT
Our service crews are strictly trained to close and latch all gates securely upon exiting your property. However, the property owner or resident retains ultimate accountability for physically verifying that all gates are fully secured and locked prior to releasing children or pets back into the service areas.
SMS PROGRAM AND MESSAGING USE CASE
Verde Heroes uses SMS/text messaging to communicate with users who have opted in to receive messages. These messages may include, but are not limited to, appointment reminders, customer support responses, service notifications, account updates, and promotional or marketing messages related to our products and services. Message frequency may vary depending on user interaction and service needs.
Message and data rates may apply to any SMS/text messages sent or received as part of Verde Heroes's messaging program. Rates are determined by your mobile carrier and may vary based on your individual mobile plan. Verde Heroesis not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier as a result of participating in this service.
You can opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from Verde Heroes at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive. Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS communications unless you opt in again. For assistance, reply "HELP" or contact us at
CARRIER LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Verde Heroes does not guarantee that SMS/text messages will be delivered without delay or error. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and may be limited by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to network availability, device compatibility, and carrier restrictions.By using our SMS/text messaging services, you acknowledge and agree that Verde Heroes and participating mobile carriers are not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in the transmission or receipt of messages.
AGE RESTRICTION
You must be at least 18 years of age or older to use this SMS/text messaging service. By opting in to receive messages from Verde Heroes, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
RIGHTS AND USAGE
Verde Heroes retains copyright ownership of all images produced. The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for marketing the property and self-promotion. The license also extends to the Client's parent company for the sole purpose of marketing the specific property photographed. Any third-party use of the images is strictly prohibited unless approved in writing and licensed by Verde Heroes.
